A 15-year-old student in Class 10 allegedly died by suicide by jumping from his 19th-floor apartment balcony in Ramprastha City Society, Sector 37D, Gurugram, according to police statements released Wednesday.

The teenager's body was discovered on the society grounds around 11 pm Tuesday night, showing severe injuries from the fall.
Police investigations revealed that Aashman Kumar, who attended a private school, had recently completed his half-yearly examinations and appeared distressed about his performance.
Tuesday evening, his father, who works as a store manager, noticed his son's unusual quietness and inquired about it. Aashman reportedly opened up to his father about his concerns.
Later that night, after family members had retired to their respective rooms, Aashman climbed over the balcony railing and jumped.
The sound of the impact alerted nearby residents and security personnel, who quickly rushed to the scene.
Emergency responders transported the teenager to a local hospital where medical staff pronounced him deceased upon arrival.
Inspector Yogesh Kumar from Sector 10 Police Station stated, "We haven't yet determined the definitive cause behind the suicide, and no note has been recovered. Our investigation is exploring whether Aashman was experiencing mental health issues, family difficulties, or other pressures."
Authorities are currently interviewing family members and friends to gather additional information about the circumstances.
