Dramatic Rescue in Himachal Pradesh: Tourist Vehicle Narrowly Avoids Plunging into Gorge

A terrifying incident unfolded near Dalhousie in Himachal Pradesh when a tourist vehicle with passengers aboard began rolling down a slope. The vehicle was stopped by a tree, preventing a major disaster. Bystanders rushed to rescue passengers who jumped from the moving vehicle, with several sustaining injuries but fortunately no lives were lost.

A tourist vehicle in Himachal Pradesh nearly plunged into a gorge near Dalhousie when it unexpectedly began rolling down a slope.

Fortunately, the vehicle was stopped when it collided with a tree, allowing locals and tourists to rush to the scene and help rescue the passengers.

In the footage, several women can be seen boarding the van parked on an incline when it suddenly starts moving backward. The passengers desperately jump from the moving vehicle, with four women managing to stay on their feet, including one whose scarf became caught in the door.

Two women fell onto the road as the vehicle gained speed. Another passenger attempted to jump but slid down the cliffside after falling, while one more hit her head on the door before falling and sliding down the slope as the vehicle finally struck a tree and stopped.

Bystanders can be seen in the video rescuing the women who had fallen down the slope.

Although several passengers sustained injuries during the frantic escape, there were no fatalities in the incident.
