Armed Robbers Loot Rs 85 Lakh from Accountant on Delhi-Lucknow Highway in Hapur

On Monday, several unidentified individuals riding motorcycles robbed Rs 85 lakh from a Noida trader's accountant after forcibly dismounting him from his motorcycle on the Delhi-Lucknow highway in Hapur district, according to police reports.

The victim, identified as 42-year-old Ajay Pal who resides in Dadri, Noida, was returning after collecting payments from various retailers when the incident took place near Saraswati Medical College in the Pilkhuwa area.

The assailants reportedly attacked him physically, threatened him at gunpoint, and escaped with a bag containing the substantial cash amount, as stated by police.

Pal suffered injuries to his head and legs and was subsequently hospitalized. Police have registered a case and are currently analyzing CCTV footage from the area to identify the perpetrators.

Law enforcement officials have formed special teams dedicated to apprehending the accused individuals involved in this highway robbery.
