Nitin Nabin: From Chhattisgarh Strategist to BJP National Executive President

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has elevated senior Bihar leader Nitin Nabin to the position of National Executive President, recognizing his instrumental role in overturning the Congress dominance in Chhattisgarh and guiding the BJP to a convincing victory in the state.

Appointed as BJP's state in-charge for the 2023 Chhattisgarh Assembly elections when the Bhupesh Baghel-led Congress government appeared firmly established, Nabin defied expectations. Despite most exit and opinion polls forecasting a Congress return, the BJP not only defeated their rivals but secured a clear majority after five years in opposition.

According to party insiders and political analysts, Nabin commenced his strategic work in Chhattisgarh immediately following his appointment.
