PM Modi Congratulates Nitin Nabin on Appointment as BJP National Working President

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated Bihar Minister Nitin Nabin on his appointment as the BJP's National Working President, praising him as a young and industrious leader with rich organizational experience. Nabin, a five-time MLA and current Minister of Road Construction in Bihar, will succeed JP Nadda in this key party position. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh also extended his best wishes, expressing confidence in Nabin's ability to strengthen the party under PM Modi's leadership.

Nitin Nabin, son of veteran BJP leader Navin Kishore Prasad Sinha, has been appointed as the Bharatiya Janata Party's National Working President.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his congratulations to Bihar Minister Nitin Nabin on Sunday following his appointment as the BJP's National Working President. Nabin will take over from Union Minister JP Nadda, who has served as the BJP National President since January 2020.

In his post on X, PM Modi praised Nabin, describing him as a "young and hardworking Karyakarta with rich organisational experience." The Prime Minister elaborated, "Shri Nitin Nabin Ji has distinguished himself as a hardworking Karyakarta. He is a young and industrious leader with rich organisational experience and has an impressive record as MLA as well as Minister in Bihar for multiple terms."

Modi further commended Nabin's dedication to fulfilling people's aspirations and highlighted his humble nature and grounded working style. "I am confident that his energy and dedication will strengthen our Party in the times to come. Congratulations to him on becoming the BJP National Working President," the Prime Minister added.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also offered his congratulations to Nabin earlier in the day, expressing his best wishes for Nabin's tenure. "Heartfelt congratulations to the young and energetic leader from the soil of Bihar, Shri @NitinNabin, on being appointed as the Executive President of @BJP4India," Singh wrote on X.

Singh described Nabin as a diligent worker with imaginative capacity, adding, "Under the inspiring leadership of Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi, he will surely succeed in taking the BJP to new heights of success. Best wishes to him for the success of his tenure."

Nabin currently serves as the Minister of Road Construction in Bihar and is a five-time MLA. He brings considerable governance experience to his new role, having served multiple times as a Minister in the Bihar Government. His portfolio has included positions as Minister of the Road Construction Department, Urban Development and Housing, and the Law Department.

Throughout his political career, Nabin has held various positions within the BJP organization. In 2008, he served as a National Executive Committee Member of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha and Co-in-charge of the Youth Wing. Between 2010 and 2013, he was the National General Secretary of the Yuva Morcha.

From 2016 to 2019, Nabin held the position of Yuva Morcha State President in Bihar. In 2019, he was appointed as the BJP Election In-charge in Sikkim, and in June of the same year, he became the Sikkim State BJP Organisation In-charge.
