Maharashtra CM Fadnavis and Deputy CM Shinde Visit RSS Founder's Memorial While NCP's Ajit Pawar Stays Away

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Deputy CM Eknath Shinde visited the memorial of RSS founder KB Hedgewar in Nagpur, accompanied by BJP and Shiv Sena legislators. However, Deputy CM Ajit Pawar and other NCP legislators, despite being part of the ruling Mahayuti coalition, were noticeably absent from the visit for the second consecutive year.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, accompanied by various legislators from the ruling BJP and Shiv Sena coalition, paid their respects at the memorial of RSS founder KB Hedgewar in Nagpur on Sunday.

Notably absent from this visit were NCP legislators, including Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, despite being members of the ruling Mahayuti alliance in Maharashtra.

At the Smruti Mandir in Reshimbagh, Chief Minister Fadnavis and Deputy CM Shinde offered floral tributes at the memorials of Hedgewar and M S Golwalkar, who served as the second Sanghchalak of the RSS.

The Chief Minister's Office shared on social media: "'नमस्ते सदा वत्सले मातृभूमे...'🙏🚩 CM Devendra Fadnavis humbly offered floral tributes to the RSS Founder Sarsanghchalak ParamPujniya Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar ji and the second Sarsanghchalak ParamPujniya Golwalkar Guruji at Smruti Mandir, Reshimbagh, Nagpur.🚩…"

The delegation also included State Legislative Assembly Speaker Rahul Narwekar, Council Chairperson Ram Shinde, and numerous other BJP and Shiv Sena legislators.

This marks the second consecutive year that Ajit Pawar has not joined the BJP and Shiv Sena legislators during their visit to the Smruti Mandir.

The visit took place during the ongoing winter session of the Maharashtra legislature in Nagpur.
