New Delhi:

The husband of Kristina, the dancer who was performing at 'Birch by Romeo Lane' nightclub in Goa during the devastating fire that claimed 25 lives, revealed to NDTV that she has been "deeply traumatized" by the incident.

Mikhail Bukin described his wife's deteriorating condition, stating she hasn't slept properly for six days, refuses to leave their home, and has lost nearly five kilograms due to emotional distress. "She is constantly crying. Her life is destroyed. Twenty-five people have lost their lives, but my wife has died alive," he expressed, highlighting the extreme difficulty this tragedy has brought upon their entire family.

The investigation into the nightclub fire continues to expand, with Goa Police having collected over 60 statements thus far. Multiple suspects are being brought before the court as custody periods expire. Kristina's own statement was recorded by authorities on December 12.

The tragic fire transformed a musical evening into disaster at the establishment owned by brothers Saurabh and Gaurav Luthra. Facing charges of culpable homicide, the Luthra brothers escaped India within hours after the fire, boarding an IndiGo flight to Phuket, Thailand. They were in Delhi when the incident occurred.

Although the Luthras filed for anticipatory bail at Delhi's Rohini court, their request was denied. They have since been detained in Thailand, with legal procedures underway for their extradition to India.

Rajiv Modak (Chief General Manager), Vivek Singh and Rajiv Singhania (both General Managers), and Priyanshu Thakur (Gate Manager) are scheduled to appear before the court today as their police custody ends. Ajay Gupta, a partner in the establishment who was arrested in Delhi, appeared in court Friday and has been remanded to seven days police custody for further investigation.

Meanwhile, the Sessions Court in Mapusa has issued notice regarding anticipatory bail applications filed by Arpora Sarpanch Roshan Redkar and Panchayat Secretary Raghuvir Bagkar. Police have until December 16 at 2:30 pm to submit a detailed response.
