Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended hospitality to National Democratic Alliance (NDA) parliamentarians on Thursday, hosting them for dinner at his official residence in New Delhi.

The MPs arrived in organized groups, traveling by buses that transported them to PM Modi's 7 Lok Kalyan Marg residence for the gathering.

This dinner follows the NDA's remarkable electoral performance in the recent Bihar assembly elections, where the coalition secured a commanding 202 seats in the 243-member legislative body. Within the alliance, the BJP claimed 89 seats, while JD(U) won 85 seats. Other coalition partners also performed well, with LJP (Ram Vilas) securing 19 seats, Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular) winning five, and Rashtriya Lok Morcha taking four.

Earlier this week, on Monday, Bihar NDA leaders paid tribute to the prime minister, acknowledging the coalition's overwhelming victory in the state. During this meeting, PM Modi encouraged them to intensify their efforts for public welfare, emphasizing that "with great victory comes great responsibility."

At Tuesday's NDA parliamentary party meeting, the prime minister articulated a citizen-centric governance approach, stating that no innocent Indian should suffer harassment or inconvenience due to any law or regulation. He underscored that such measures should consistently prioritize the convenience of ordinary citizens.
