Brutal Attack on Bar Staff in Maharashtra: CCTV Captures Violence After Refusing Service Past Closing Hours

The police have initiated an investigation into the violent incident.

Employees at a bar in Maharashtra's Chandrapur district were violently attacked after refusing to serve water and alcohol beyond the establishment's closing hours.

The assault occurred at Prasad Deshmane's bar located in Warora city of the district and was recorded by security cameras.

According to the filed complaint, a customer became enraged after being denied service and subsequently returned with 8-10 companions who then attacked the staff. CCTV footage captures the suspects physically assaulting an employee and stealing Rs 7,200 in cash from him.

The security footage reveals how rapidly the violence escalated. Initially, one or two individuals exit a vehicle and begin assaulting two bar staff members with kicks and punches. Shortly after, additional attackers arrive on motorcycles and join the assault. The group then proceeds to beat the employees with sticks and rods, targeting their bodies and heads. Approximately 8-10 men can be observed in the recording.

During the attack, one perpetrator lifts a large stone from the roadside and attempts to strike an employee, but another individual prevents this action. Meanwhile, the remaining attackers continue to brutally beat the employees without mercy, kicking them while they lie on the ground, dragging them, and striking them repeatedly with sticks.

At one point, one of the victims manages to sit up momentarily, but the attackers return and resume their violent assault with kicks, punches, and sticks before finally departing the scene in their vehicles.

The owner of the bar has filed an official complaint, and Warora Police have commenced an investigation into the violent incident.
