Telangana Secures Massive Rs 5.75 Lakh Crore Investment Portfolio at Rising Global Summit 2025

Telangana has emerged as a premier investment destination after securing Rs 5.75 lakh crore in commitments during the Rising Global Summit 2025. The two-day event at Bharat Future City attracted landmark investments in data centers, AI infrastructure, manufacturing, and R&D sectors, positioning the state as a global technology hub while emphasizing inclusive economic growth through local enterprise development initiatives.

Telangana Bags Rs 5.75 Lakh Crore Investments At Rising Global Summit

Telangana has secured investments totaling Rs 5.75 lakh crore during the two-day Telangana Rising Global Summit hosted at Bharat Future City, located approximately 25 km from Hyderabad airport.

The summit positioned Telangana as an emerging global hub for digital economy and advanced technologies, attracting substantial technology and infrastructure commitments from major investors worldwide.

The second day of the summit witnessed significant commitments focused on large-scale, infrastructure-defining projects, with the data center and AI infrastructure sector receiving the most substantial investments.

Infrakey Datacenter Parks led with a remarkable Rs 70,000 crore investment to establish a 1 GW AI Datacenter, representing one of the region's largest single technology investments in history.

Singapore-based AGIDC followed closely with a Rs 67,500 crore commitment for developing a major International Gateway (IGW) Data Centre, which will enhance Telangana's global digital connectivity and strengthen its position as a key international data hub.

JCK Infra Projects Ltd pledged Rs 9,000 crore toward developing an integrated AI City/Township within the Bharat Future City development plan, further enhancing the state's technology infrastructure.

Beyond digital infrastructure, the summit attracted diverse high-value investments across manufacturing and R&D sectors. Zen Technologies committed Rs 5,000 crore, likely for expanding its defense and technology capabilities.

In the life sciences sector, Biologicals E Ltd announced a major expansion and R&D Hub project worth Rs 4,000 crore, reinforcing Telangana's pharmaceutical and biotechnology leadership.

The green mobility and electronics sector saw RCT (Germany) investing Rs 2,500 crore to manufacture Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Containers, contributing to sustainable energy solutions in the region.

Bharath Garuda committed Rs 2,100 crore to establish a new car manufacturing project, injecting fresh capital into Telangana's automotive industry.

The summit also emphasized inclusive economic growth by fostering the local enterprise ecosystem. The Confederation of Indian SC/ST Enterprises secured a collective investment of Rs 577.11 crores to establish units across diverse sectors including Green Industrial Parks, Manufacturing, and IT/ITES, with projections to create 2,500 jobs.

TiE Hyderabad, through its SME Growth Catalyst initiative, signed a crucial MoU aimed at mentoring and scaling 500 SMEs with turnovers between Rs 25-50 crore by 2029. This initiative is designed to facilitate over Rs 500 crore in growth capital access and is expected to generate between 3-5 lakh high-quality jobs across the state.

As the Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025 concluded, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, who spearheaded this vision, emphasized that while Telangana aims for global standards, its primary purpose remains serving the people of Telangana.
