Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani has inaugurated a vocational training program for differently abled individuals in food and beverage services in Dhanbad, Jharkhand.

During his visit to Dhanbad for the centenary celebration of the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Adani made time to visit Pehla Kadam, a specialized school for differently abled children operated by Narayani Charitable Trust.

At Pehla Kadam, Adani officially launched the vocational training initiative designed to equip differently abled students with skills in the food and beverage sector, alongside a cloud kitchen facility.

Anita Angarwal, Director at Pehla Kadam, expressed profound gratitude for Adani's visit and his interactions with the children. She revealed to IANS that Adani has committed financial support of Rs 1 crore annually for three consecutive years to Pehla Kadam after witnessing the work being done with differently abled children.

"I am speechless about his kindness," Angarwal stated. "He personally interacted and shook hands with every single child. I was amazed to see such a prominent entrepreneur, who must have an incredibly busy schedule, devoting so much time to these special children." She described his visit as a significant milestone for the institution.

Earlier during his visit, while addressing students at IIT Dhanbad, Adani encouraged them to become "Bharat's freedom fighters" and contribute to the nation's "economic and resource independence."

"You, my young friends, represent the next generation of Bharat's freedom fighters. In this endeavor, you are not merely extracting resources but extracting sovereignty. You are not just mining minerals; you are mining dignity," the Adani Group Chairman emphasized.

Adani also urged the students to "dream fearlessly, act relentlessly," embrace innovation, and help construct a confident, self-reliant India by becoming "custodians of the core" who develop India's sovereign capabilities.
