Adani Group To Set Up Data Centre With Rs 2,500 Crore Investment: Karan Adani In Telangana

Adani Group has announced plans to establish a 48-megawatt AI green data centre in Telangana with an investment of Rs 2,500 crores, as revealed by Karan Adani, Managing Director of Adani Ports & SEZ Ltd, during the inaugural session of Telangana Rising Global Summit on Monday.

The conglomerate has already invested Rs 10,000 crores in Telangana across various sectors including infrastructure and manufacturing over the past three years. This substantial investment has generated employment for more than 7,000 people in the state.

According to Karan Adani, the upcoming green data centre will leverage cutting-edge AI, cloud technology, and high-performance computing capabilities. The facility is designed to meet the growing demands of India's rapidly expanding digital ecosystem.

Telangana has experienced significant growth in capital and logistics infrastructure in recent years, with the Adani Group playing a pivotal role in enhancing road networks and improving logistics efficiency. These developments have helped position the state as an important logistics gateway.

In support of the Atmanirbhar Bharat (Self-reliant India) initiative, the Adani Group has developed a prominent defence and aerospace park in Hyderabad. This facility manufactures Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) that are supplied to both the Indian armed forces and international markets, while providing employment to over 1,500 young professionals.

The group has invested Rs 4,000 crores specifically in road infrastructure, constructing more than 100 kilometers of highways connecting key districts in Telangana including Mancherial, Suryapet, Kodad, and Khammam.

Hyderabad continues to benefit from these strategic investments as Telangana strengthens its position as a growing technology and infrastructure hub in India.
