Revealed: Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed Terrorists Hold Strategic Meeting in Pakistan Following Recent Attacks

NDTV has uncovered evidence of high-level meetings between Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists at JeM headquarters in Pakistan's Bahawalpur. This collaboration between two of Pakistan's deadliest terror organizations comes after recent attacks in India, including the Pahalgam attack and Delhi car bombing. Intelligence sources confirm reconstruction of terror launch facilities and preparation of new suicide squads, signaling continued threats to Indian security.

Jaish, Lashkar Terrorists Gather For Big Meeting In Pak's Bahawalpur

New Delhi:

NDTV has obtained photographs documenting meetings between terrorists from two Pakistan-backed terror organizations – Lashkar-e-Taiba, connected to 26 fatalities in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam in April, and Jaish-e-Mohammed, responsible for the November car bombing in Delhi that claimed 15 lives.

The gathering occurred at Jaish's headquarters in Pakistan's Bahawalpur, one of several locations targeted during Operation Sindoor – India's military response to the Pahalgam terror attack.

In photographs acquired by NDTV, LeT deputy chief Saifullah Kasuri is visible meeting with Jaish commanders.

These images confirm intelligence communities' warnings about collaboration between LeT and JeM – considered two of the most lethal terrorist organizations operated by Pakistan's deep state.

Intelligence sources have also informed NDTV about terror launch facilities being reconstructed in Rawalakot in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir – another terrorist location targeted by Indian forces during Operation Sindoor.

Last month, NDTV reported that Jaish-e-Mohammed is preparing another 'fidayeen' or suicide squad for a new attack – following the Red Fort car bombing – and is currently gathering funds.

Intelligence sources revealed that evidence discovered during the Red Fort blast investigation – where ammonium nitrate fuel oil packed into a Hyundai i20 exploded near the historic site – indicated fundraising activities through digital channels, including a Pakistani application called SadaPay.

Just days before the Red Fort car bombing, fresh intelligence reports reviewed by NDTV revealed concerning escalation in Pakistan-backed terrorist activities targeting Jammu and Kashmir. These reports suggested LeT and JeM may be mobilizing, with Pakistan deep state support, for coordinated attacks.

According to intelligence, terrorist groups had intensified infiltration, reconnaissance, and cross-border logistics since September, with multiple LeT and JeM units entering Kashmir, assisted by Pakistan's Special Services Group (SSG) and Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) operatives.

Images obtained by NDTV in September showed terrorist infrastructure – including the Markaz Jihad-e-Aqsa, which LeT spokesperson Aamir Zia attempted to misrepresent as a mosque – under construction in the Lower Dir region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, where LeT and JeM partially relocated following Operation Sindoor.

According to sources, the markaz will function as the new center for LeT's suicide bomber unit after their Bhimber-Barnala facility was destroyed during Operation Sindoor.
