31-Year-Old Woman Dies After Jumping From 11th Floor of Mumbai High-Rise Building

According to a police official on Thursday, a 31-year-old woman allegedly took her own life by jumping from a high-rise building in Mumbai's Jogeshwari area.

The Meghwadi police station reported that the incident occurred late Wednesday night at the Oberoi Splendour building located near BEST's Majas Depot.

"The woman was identified as Shristi Amit Jain. She jumped from the eleventh floor of the building's C Wing around 11pm. She was immediately transported to a nearby hospital where medical staff pronounced her dead upon arrival. No suicide note has been discovered at the scene," the official stated.

Police have filed an Accidental Death Report (ADR) and are continuing their investigation into the matter, according to the official.
