A viral video captured a black Scorpio-N SUV sinking into a deep, water-filled pothole, drawing significant attention online.

In Patna, Bihar, an incident occurred Friday evening when an SUV carrying five passengers became trapped in an enormous waterlogged pothole. What truly captured public interest was the driver's unexpected response, claiming the accident was deliberately orchestrated as a "conspiracy to defame the government."

The viral footage shows the black Scorpio-N almost completely submerged and tilted in the deep pothole. Local residents quickly gathered around the scene as it became a neighborhood spectacle. The brief video depicts two men standing on top of the vehicle, opening the driver's door to check if anyone remained inside.

The deteriorated road near Patna railway station exhibited clear signs of prolonged neglect, with uneven surfaces and extensive damage visible.

In her statement to news agency ANI, the driver Neetu Singh Choubey from Bhagalpur explained, "Everyone has been contacted. We spoke with the DM. He said this is a conspiracy to defame the government during the election period. This is all BUIDCO's fault."

Choubey alleged that authorities had created the pothole and deliberately left it unattended for 20 days. "It's the rainy season. Five people were in the car. If someone had lost their life, who would take responsibility?" she questioned.

She further noted the absence of safety precautions to warn travelers. "There was no barricade. Even after my car fell, another person fell off his bike in the same crater. Locals say someone or other falls in this pothole every day."

When questioned about prior notification from authorities, Choubey mentioned officials claimed no written notice had been issued. She confirmed all passengers were safely rescued with no injuries reported.
