Disha Patani's Sister Helps Accident Victims, Flags Ambulance Delay In Video

Khushboo Patani confronted bystanders who were filming instead of assisting victims at the accident scene.

Bollywood actress Disha Patani's sister, Khushboo Patani, has highlighted serious concerns about emergency response inefficiency after stopping to assist victims of a deadly road accident on the Delhi-Lucknow Highway.

The accident occurred in Moradabad on Sunday. After providing help to the injured, Khushboo recorded a video noting that ambulances took over an hour to reach the scene.

Khushboo, who was traveling along the same route, discovered numerous critically injured individuals without any medical assistance following the accident. In her Instagram video, she states, "It has been more than an hour, the ambulance has not arrived."

She assisted in moving injured people and bodies away from the roadway and arranged transportation for four to five victims to the hospital via auto-rickshaw.

Her posted video revealed a severely damaged auto-rickshaw, injured passengers, and the chaotic accident site.

Khushboo further explained, "There were 12-13 people. I think now only 2-3 people would be alive. In the beginning, we sent 4-5 people who were still breathing in an auto because the ambulance took 1.5 hours to arrive."

She expressed disapproval of onlookers who were recording videos rather than helping, describing this behavior as "absolutely wrong," and encouraged people to provide assistance without fearing police involvement. "When I arrived, there were 2-3 boys at the accident spot who were only filming and not offering any help. As an Indian citizen, this priority of filming first is absolutely wrong," she remarked.

According to police reports, the accident happened when a speeding roadways bus collided with an auto-rickshaw (tempo) from behind. Six family members, including two children, lost their lives and five others sustained serious injuries while traveling to attend a wedding in Rafatpur, as reported by PTI.

The deceased were identified as Mati alias Sanju (30), Suman (30), Seema (35), Aarti (20), Aman (15), and Ananya (12), all residents of Abdullahpur in the Kundarki police station area, according to police officials.
