Private Tuition Teacher Arrested for Sexual Assault of Four Young Girls in Arunachal Pradesh

In Arunachal Pradesh's Naharlagun, a private tuition teacher allegedly sexually assaulted four girls aged approximately six to seven years, according to police statements released on Sunday.

Officials reported that Naharlagun Police Station received a verbal complaint at approximately 9:15 pm on Sunday. The report alleged that four Class 1 students had been sexually assaulted during their tuition sessions.

Following the report, police quickly organized a response team. Sub-Inspector S Dirchi, accompanied by Head Constables S Bagang and T K Khochi, promptly detained the suspect.

The accused was subsequently transferred to the Women Police Station in Itanagar for appropriate legal proceedings, authorities confirmed.

Police have identified the suspect as 35-year-old Milo Takar from Bula village in Lower Subansiri district.

The alleged assault reportedly occurred at the teacher's rented accommodation located in G Sector, Naharlagun, according to official sources.

Authorities stated that the accused will face charges under applicable sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, and the investigation continues.
