Yugendra Pawar Weds Tanishka Kulkarni: Inside the High-Profile Marriage of Sharad Pawar's Grandson

NCP MP Supriya Sule shared the wedding photographs on social media platforms.

Yugendra Pawar, grandson of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar, wed his longtime partner Tanishka Kulkarni on Sunday. The ceremony was attended by prominent political leaders and members of the influential Pawar political dynasty.

NCP MP Supriya Sule attended the celebration with her husband and children to bless the newlyweds. She subsequently posted images from the wedding celebration on her social media accounts.

"A joyous moment for our family as Yugen and Tanishka begin their new journey together!" she wrote, adding, "Wishing the beautiful couple a lifetime filled with love, joy, and endless togetherness. So happy to welcome Tanishka into our family."

Who Is Tanishka Kulkarni?

Tanishka Kulkarni is reportedly the daughter of a Mumbai-based industrialist residing in the Prabhadevi area.

She earned her bachelor's degree in finance from Cass Business School in London.

The wedding of Tanishka and Yugendra follows their engagement ceremony held in August in Mumbai, where Ajit Pawar was also present.

Who Is Yugendra Pawar?

Yugendra Pawar is the grandson of veteran politician Sharad Pawar and son of Shrinivas Pawar, who is the younger brother of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar. He received his education in Mumbai, Pune, and later studied finance and insurance at Northeastern University in Boston. Yugendra is actively involved in politics, business, and social work.

In the 2024 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Yugendra contested from the Baramati seat but was defeated by his uncle Ajit Pawar in a high-profile electoral contest.
