Poland faced a demographic deficit of 157,000 in 2024, with deaths significantly outnumbering births.

The Arche group, which operates 23 hotels and numerous properties throughout Poland, has expressed concern about the country's ongoing demographic crisis, citing a consistent 12-year downturn in birth rates.

To help address this issue, the company has introduced a rewards program offering complimentary special events, such as baptism ceremonies, to guests who can demonstrate that their child's conception occurred during their stay at an Arche hotel.

Additionally, the company offers a financial incentive of 10,000 zlotys (approximately $2,754) for children born to parents who purchase homes through the company.

The initiative, called Arche Generations, specifically targets heterosexual couples where at least one partner is an adult Polish citizen residing in the country.

The company extends similar incentives to its own employees who have children.

According to the National Statistics Office GUS, Poland's population has declined to approximately 37.4 million as of June, representing a decrease of one million people since 2015.

The current demographic trend showing births lagging behind deaths by 157,000 in 2024 is expected to continue in the coming years.
