France:

The Louvre Museum in Paris announced on Thursday a significant increase in ticket prices specifically for non-European visitors. According to information provided to AFP by the museum and staff unions, the price hike will amount to 45%.

Starting January 14, visitors who are not citizens of the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein, or Norway will be required to pay 32 euros ($37) for admission. This represents an additional 10 euros compared to the current price.

The differential pricing structure will create a two-tier system for museum access, with Europeans continuing to pay the lower rate while international tourists from other regions face the increased costs.
