Hollywood Stars Lead Call To Boycott Disney+ As ABC Suspends Jimmy Kimmel Show

ABC's suspension of the Jimmy Kimmel Live show this week has triggered a significant backlash across the entertainment industry.

The decision by ABC to suspend Jimmy Kimmel's popular late-night program has sparked widespread cancellations of Disney services, with numerous celebrities and fans encouraging boycotts of Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN platforms.

Disney, as the parent corporation of ABC, has found itself at the center of this controversy.

Prominent actress Cynthia Nixon from Sex and the City joined the protest movement with a passionate Instagram statement declaring, "Cancel your subscriptions to Disney+, Hulu & ESPN now."

"I just cancelled my Disney Plus and Hulu subscriptions and they asked me why I hit 'other' and I wrote 'because I believe in the First Amendment, reinstate Jimmy Kimmel'," Nixon explained to her followers.

She further emphasized, "Now, my whole family is really gonna miss Abbott Elementary. We are really gonna miss Only Murders in the Building. But you know what? We would miss the First Amendment a whole lot more. Don't go to the theme parks. Don't go on the cruises. Cancel your subscriptions. Now. Now."
