Aleema Khan previously claimed that the former Prime Minister was being held in a "death cell"
Concerns about Imran Khan, Pakistan's imprisoned former Prime Minister, have grown after his three sisters alleged they were "brutally" attacked outside Rawalpindi's Adiala Jail by state forces when attempting to visit their brother. Imran Khan's sisters – Noreen Niazi, Aleema Khan and Dr Uzma Khan – have stated that they have been prevented from seeing the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman for more than three weeks.
Imran Khan has been trending on social media for two days following unconfirmed rumors of his death after an Afghan media report suggested he was killed inside Adiala Jail. The Afghanistan Times report alleged that the 72-year-old leader "succumbed to alleged mistreatment" while in custody, and his body was supposedly removed from the prison facility.
Reports are now surfacing from inside the prisons of PUnjabi Pakistan that Imran Khan, who was being held in custody, has been killed by Asim Munir and his ISI administration according to several news outlets. If this information is confirmed to be true, it marks the absolute end…
Subsequently, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the self-proclaimed Balochistan also alleged that Khan had been assassinated in Adalia jail. In a post on X, they claimed that Pakistan's intelligence agency, ISI, and Army chief General Asim Munir had orchestrated a conspiracy to eliminate the PTI chairman.
"If this information is confirmed to be true, it marks the absolute end of terrorist Pakistan. The collapse of its last remaining legitimacy will begin the moment the truth is exposed to the world," the post warned.

Pakistan Refutes Allegations
Thus far, these unsubstantiated claims have not been verified by any reliable source. Furthermore, Pakistani government officials have dismissed the Afghanistan Times report, likening it to similar unfounded claims from May regarding Khan's alleged killing.
An outdated image of Imran Khan in hospital has also circulated widely, but has been identified as misleading.
Subsequently, Khan's sister Aleema Khan and his PTI supporters ended their demonstration at the Gorakhpur checkpost near Adiala Jail following productive discussions with law enforcement. According to ARY News, authorities assured them that meetings with the former Prime Minister would be arranged.
The family has now received guarantees for access to Imran Khan later on Thursday and again next Tuesday, prompting over 10,000 PTI supporter protesters to disperse without incident.
Khan, who transitioned from cricket to politics, has been incarcerated since August 2023 after being convicted in multiple corruption cases. The government has imposed an unofficial ban on visitations for more than a month.
Khan Allegedly in a "Death Cell"?
Aleema Khan previously claimed that the former Prime Minister was being confined in a "death cell" typically reserved for terrorists.
A member of his legal team informed media that even books, necessary items, and access to his lawyers are being restricted. "The law of the jungle prevails here, where only the beast who rules has rights. No one else has any rights," said Khalid Yousaf Chaudry.
Even Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi was denied permission to meet Khan. Afridi made seven consecutive attempts to visit him in jail, but was refused by prison authorities, whom Khan alleges are controlled by a military officer.
