Fitness influencer and coach Dmitry Nuyanzin has tragically passed away following a controversial eating experiment.
A 30-year-old Russian fitness coach from Orenburg, Dmitry Nuyanzin, has died after undertaking an extreme binge-eating challenge. The fitness influencer passed away in his sleep while participating in a self-designed eating experiment aimed at promoting his weight-loss program. His goal had been to gain at least 25 kg before demonstrating how to lose it all.
For several weeks, Nuyanzin consumed massive amounts of junk food as part of what he called a 'marathon' challenge. He regularly consumed over 10,000 calories daily, intending to later document his weight loss transformation to inspire his clients.
The day before his death, Nuyanzin canceled his scheduled training sessions, telling friends he wasn't feeling well and planned to consult a doctor. Reports indicate his heart failed during sleep.
His final Instagram post on November 18 showed him eating Lays chips while revealing he had reached 105 kg, having gained approximately 13 kg in just one month.

Social media users responded to Nuyanzin's death with condolences while noting the cautionary nature of his story for others considering similar extreme challenges.
"It is better to prove such theories not in practice. Rest in peace," commented one user, while another observed: "It's true. If you're not used to junky fries fast food it will indeed make you sick!"
Another person wrote: "Well, if ever there was a cautionary tale, then this has to be it."
A fourth commenter shared: "An excellent coach and a wonderful mentor, and just a good person. The news was shocking. Condolences to the family."
Nuyanzin's extreme daily diet included pastries and cake for breakfast; dumplings covered in mayonnaise for lunch; and a burger with two small pizzas for dinner.
He had previously described his daily intake: "For breakfast, I have a plate of pastries and half a cake. For lunch, I usually eat 800 grams of dumplings with mayonnaise. During the day, I may snack on crisps, and for dinner, I have a burger and two small pizzas, either at a cafe or delivered."
A graduate of the Orenburg Olympic Reserve School and the National Fitness University in St Petersburg, Nuyanzin had spent ten years working as a personal coach for elite Russian clients.
