On Sunday, US President Donald Trump accused Ukraine of showing "zero gratitude" for American support against Russia's invasion, coinciding with high-level US-Ukrainian diplomatic meetings in Geneva focused on potential war resolution proposals.

"UKRAINE 'LEADERSHIP' HAS EXPRESSED ZERO GRATITUDE FOR OUR EFFORTS," Trump declared on his Truth Social platform, expressing frustration about the war's "HUMAN CATASTROPHE" while criticizing former President Biden but noticeably avoiding direct criticism of Moscow.

Trump's criticism of Ukraine and US allies underscores his evident irritation regarding the conflict, which began with Russia's full-scale invasion in 2022, resulting in territorial seizures and widespread destruction across Ukraine.

During his presidential campaign, Trump confidently claimed he could negotiate peace within 24 hours.
