Conservative Party MP Bob Blackman organized a special gathering at the UK House of Commons on Wednesday to celebrate Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 75th birthday, bringing together an array of community leaders, spiritual figures, and fellow parliamentarians.
"I was pleased to host the celebration of PM Narendra Modi on his 75th Birthday in the Houses of Parliament," Blackman shared on X, accompanied by images from the celebration.
The event was co-organized by the International Siddhashram Shakti Centre UK (a Hindu spiritual organization), alongside media outlets Garavi Gujarat (a Gujarati-English weekly publication) and Eastern Eye (a prominent British-Asian newspaper).
The celebration featured vibrant cultural performances by Siddhashram's troupe, with many attendees donning masks bearing PM Modi's image - what organizers described as a symbolic "Modi on every seat" representation within the UK Parliament.

The celebration coincided with the approaching Hindu festival of Navratri and included cultural performances, speeches, and various tributes to the Indian leader.
Rajrajeshwar Guruji, a spiritual head present at the event, characterized PM Modi as "a saint in a civil role guiding India and the world," according to Eastern Eye.
PM Modi's birthday was commemorated through numerous welfare programs and cultural events across India and internationally.
The occasion saw the launch of various initiatives, including health camps, cleanliness drives, and awareness campaigns organized in BJP-governed states. In Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, officials announced a special service fortnight featuring programs focused on tuberculosis eradication, Anganwadi empowerment, and cervical cancer vaccination under the theme "Healthy Women, Empowered Family".
In Lucknow, participants marked the day with cake cutting, sweet distribution, and commitments to the 'Seva Pakhwada' service initiative.
The Madhya Pradesh government commemorated the occasion by laying the foundation stone for the PM MITRA Park in Dhar, where thousands gathered for folk music, Swadeshi-themed performances, and community events.
In Gujarat, leaders inaugurated the "Matrushri Hiraba Sarovar" at Siddhpur, honoring the memory of PM Modi's mother Hiraben. Maharashtra announced the creation of 394 "NaMo Gardens" across various towns and cities, alongside mass tree plantation campaigns.
Birthday greetings for PM Modi arrived from across India and worldwide. Global leaders, including Russian President Vladimir Putin, Israel's Benjamin Netanyahu, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, and US President Donald Trump, extended their congratulations to the Indian Prime Minister.
