Iran Condemns US Nuclear Testing Resumption as "Regressive and Irresponsible"

Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi strongly condemned the United States' plans to resume nuclear testing on Thursday, labeling the move as "regressive and irresponsible" following President Donald Trump's unexpected directive.

"A nuclear-armed bully is resuming testing of atomic weapons. The same bully has been demonizing Iran's peaceful nuclear program," Araghchi stated in his social media post.

The Iranian diplomat further emphasized that "The announcement of a resumption of nuclear tests is a regressive and irresponsible move and a serious threat to international peace and security."

This sharp criticism comes in response to the Trump administration's surprising decision to restart nuclear testing activities, which has sparked international concern about potential escalation in global nuclear tensions.
