Vaishnav, a first-year BBA Marketing student at Middlesex University Dubai, suddenly collapsed during Diwali festivities on Tuesday at Dubai International Academic City, as reported by Gulf News on Wednesday.

Despite being rushed to the hospital immediately, medical professionals declared him "brought dead due to cardiac arrest." The family mentioned that the Dubai Police Forensic Department is conducting a thorough investigation into his death, noting that Vaishnav had no previous history of heart conditions.

Vaishnav's uncle Nitish, a Dubai resident, told Khaleej Times, "His parents wish to transport his remains to Kerala for the final rites, so we are currently handling the necessary documentation. We anticipate completing all arrangements for them to fly home by Friday." He added, "We still don't have complete clarity on exactly what happened."

Gopi Karnavar, a relative and neighbor of the family, whose roots are in Karazhma in Chennithala, Alappuzha, shared with PTI in Alappuzha that the family had visited their hometown two years ago. "They rarely came to Chennithala. Their last visit was for their new home's housewarming ceremony two years ago," Karnavar stated.

According to Karnavar, Vaishnav's father, Krishnakumar, has been working in Dubai for over two decades. "Both Vaishnav and his younger sister were born and raised there. He was an intelligent and sociable young man with most of his friendships in Dubai," he added.

"We've been informed that the body will arrive at their home on Friday, with cremation planned on their property on Saturday," Karnavar mentioned.

Middlesex University expressed their condolences, stating that Vaishnav's "loss has deeply affected our community," as reported by Gulf News.
