Vehicle Crashes Into White House Security Gate: Driver Arrested in Latest Security Incident

An individual was taken into custody after deliberately driving their vehicle into a security barrier outside the White House complex, according to authorities. The incident occurred at approximately 10:37 pm on Tuesday when the vehicle collided with the security gate near the intersection of 17th and E Streets, as reported by the US Secret Service.

In their official statement, the agency confirmed that the vehicle was thoroughly inspected and declared safe following examinations conducted by Secret Service personnel and officials from Washington's Metropolitan Police Department. The driver was immediately apprehended at the scene.
