Hot Mic Captures Indonesia President Asking Trump For Meeting With Son Eric

Donald Trump and Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto were captured on microphone during their conversation at the Gaza Peace Summit in Egypt on Monday.

A live microphone inadvertently recorded Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto requesting a meeting with Eric Trump, the executive vice president of the Trump Organization, during his conversation with U.S. President Donald Trump. The exchange occurred after Trump addressed the Gaza-focused summit in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt.

Both leaders appeared unaware that their conversation was being captured by an active microphone following Trump's remarks to world leaders at the summit, which took place after the announcement of a ceasefire agreement in Gaza.

When contacted about the exchange, neither the White House nor the Indonesian Embassy in Washington provided immediate comments.

The audio did not clearly indicate whether the two leaders were discussing the Trump Organization or any potential business arrangements involving the president or his family members.

In the recorded conversation, Prabowo mentions a region that is "not safe, security-wise" before asking Trump: "Can I meet Eric?" Trump responds: "I'll have Eric call. Should I do that? He's such a good boy. I'll have Eric call."

Prabowo then suggests: "We'll look for a better place," to which Trump reiterates: "I'll have Eric call you." Prabowo follows up by saying: "Eric or Don Jr."

Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr. both serve as executive vice presidents of the Trump Organization, which manages various business operations in real estate, hospitality, and blockchain ventures.

According to its website, the Trump Organization currently operates a golf club near Jakarta, Indonesia's capital. Another property in Bali, Indonesia, described as a golf club and resort, is listed on the company website as "coming soon."
