A massive sign expressing gratitude to Donald Trump was constructed on a Tel Aviv beach on Monday, prior to the US President's arrival in Israel.
The impressive display features two blue stripes and Stars of David designed to resemble the Israeli flag, with "Thank you" written in both English and Hebrew, alongside the word "home".

Trump's Air Force One flew over the large sign before landing at Ben Gurion Airport, where he arrived to celebrate a significant agreement between Israel and Hamas intended to secure the return of the remaining 48 hostages and end the conflict in Gaza.

The President's itinerary includes meetings with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, an address to the Knesset, and conversations with families of the hostages. Following his time in Israel, Trump will travel to Egypt for a summit focused on Gaza's future, which will be attended by leaders from more than 20 countries, including French President Emmanuel Macron and UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
The International Committee of the Red Cross has confirmed that the release of living Israeli hostages from Gaza has begun.
As part of the initial phase of the US-brokered ceasefire agreement, approximately 2,000 Palestinian prisoners and detainees in Israel are expected to be released.
The agreement also ensures humanitarian aid access to Gaza, allowing up to 600 trucks daily, and includes international monitoring provisions. However, critical issues such as Hamas' disarmament and Gaza's future governance remain unresolved.
On Thursday, Netanyahu addressed Israeli citizens, stating he was "fulfilling" his promise to return all hostages. He confirmed that Israeli forces have begun withdrawing from certain areas of Gaza as part of the ceasefire's first stage, while emphasizing that Israel continues "surrounding Hamas from every direction."
"The next stages of Trump's plan are that 'Hamas will be disarmed and Gaza will be demilitarised,'" Netanyahu stated, noting that Hamas has not yet committed to disarming. "If this is achieved the easy way, so much the better. And if not, it will be achieved the hard way."
