President Trump Confident Gaza Ceasefire Will Hold As He Plans Israel and Egypt Diplomatic Visit

President Trump expressed confidence that the Israeli ceasefire in Gaza, which commenced on Friday, would remain intact, noting that both Israel and Hamas are "tired" of the ongoing conflict.

"It'll hold. I think it'll hold. They're all tired of the fighting," Trump stated to reporters while confirming his upcoming diplomatic visit to Israel and Egypt this weekend.

The US President revealed plans to meet with numerous leaders in Egypt on Monday to discuss Gaza's future reconstruction, with the gathering likely to take place in Cairo.

Trump also mentioned he would deliver an address to the Israeli parliament during his visit to the country earlier that same day.

Expressing optimism about broader regional peace, Trump remarked that he was confident the Gaza ceasefire would contribute to wider Middle East stability.

"Now we have some little hot spots, but they're very small... They'll be very easy to put out. Those fires are going to be put out very quickly," he added, suggesting remaining tensions would be manageable.

The President's diplomatic initiative comes at a critical moment for regional stability as efforts to establish lasting peace continue.
