Nick Booker: IndoGenius Co-Founder Bridging Global Education with India at NDTV World Summit

Nick Booker, co-founder of IndoGenius, is set to participate as a speaker at the upcoming NDTV World Summit in New Delhi. The summit, scheduled for October 17-18, will gather global leaders across politics, science, technology, and business sectors to address innovation, collaboration, and future challenges.

In his role as co-founder and CEO of IndoGenius, Booker provides advisory services to international universities, corporations, government bodies, and investors seeking to build connections with India. His impressive client portfolio includes the New Zealand Prime Minister's Scholarship for Asia, the Australian Government's New Colombo Plan, and numerous educational institutions from countries including the UK, US, Germany, France, New Zealand, and Australia. Additionally, he has established collaborative relationships with the British Council, UKIERI, Institut Francais, European Commission, and the US Department of State.

Throughout his career, Booker has developed some of India's most extensive experiential learning initiatives. His programs have attracted more than 1,600 international students to in-person study opportunities in India, while over 10,000 have participated through virtual platforms. His contributions extend to helping universities establish representation in India, managing collaborative research projects like the Obama-Singh Grant, and supporting institutions in developing India-specific strategies and campus expansion plans.

Through IndoGenius, Booker has facilitated connections between international students and more than 400 internships across 60 Indian and multinational organizations, including nonprofits and educational institutions. Partner organizations feature prominent names such as Tata Consultancy Services, Tata Motors, Tata Steel, Air India, and Grant Thornton. These programs are designed to provide students with practical experience while enhancing their understanding of India's business landscape and cultural context.

Founded in 2010 by Nick Booker and Meetu Booker-Soni, IndoGenius focuses on facilitating partnerships between universities, government agencies, and Indian institutions. The organization recently completed a comprehensive study for the UK India Education Research Initiative (UKIERI) examining the future trajectory of Indian higher education.

Under Booker's guidance, IndoGenius is currently involved in an ambitious joint-venture project in Madhya Pradesh aimed at developing a new city featuring an international airport, industrial parks, and a substantial research-oriented university campus. The organization is also developing mobile learning applications designed to provide free educational resources to Indian students.
