Full Text: Hamas Accepts Key Points in Trump's Gaza Peace Plan While Reserving Rights Discussion

Hamas issued an official response on Friday to the 20-point Gaza peace plan proposed by US President Donald Trump.

The following is the complete text of Hamas's response released on Friday regarding the peace proposal:

Response of Hamas movement to the US President Trump's proposal

The Islamic Resistance Movement - Hamas appreciates the Arab, Islamic, and international efforts, as well as the efforts of the US President, Donald Trump, advocating for an end to the war in the Gaza Strip, prisoner exchanges, immediate humanitarian aid delivery, opposition to occupation of the Strip, and rejection of Palestinian displacement.

In this context, and to ensure the war's conclusion and complete withdrawal from Gaza, WE DECLARE our acceptance to release all occupation war prisoners (both living and dead) within the exchange framework presented in President Trump's proposal, contingent upon securing appropriate field conditions for implementing the exchange process. We confirm our readiness to immediately engage with mediators in negotiations to discuss the details of this process.

We further reaffirm our approval to entrust Gaza Strip administration to an independent Palestinian administration (a technocratic authority) established through Palestinian national consensus with Arab and Islamic support.

Regarding other issues in President Trump's proposal concerning Gaza's future and the Palestinian people's inalienable rights, these matters are connected to a comprehensive national position and grounded in relevant international resolutions and laws. They will be addressed within an inclusive Palestinian national framework, in which we will participate as an integral part with full responsibility.
