Pakistan successfully executed a training launch of their newly incorporated and domestically developed cruise missile 'Fatah-4' on Tuesday. This missile demonstrates an impressive capability of striking targets up to 750 kilometers away, according to a statement from the Pakistani army.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), which serves as the army's media division, confirmed that the launch test of this 750-kilometer range missile was successfully completed.
The army highlighted that this weapon system features "advanced avionics and state-of-the-art navigational aids," enabling it to evade enemy missile defense systems through its terrain-hugging characteristics while maintaining high precision targeting capabilities.
As an integral component of the Army Rocket Force Command, the Fatah-4 missile system "will further enhance the reach, lethality and survivability of Pakistan Army's conventional missile systems," according to the military statement.
The chief of general staff was present to witness the launch, alongside senior officers from Pakistan's armed forces, scientists, and engineers involved in the project.
Following the successful training fire of Fatah-4, congratulations were extended to the participating troops, scientists, and engineers by Pakistan's president, prime minister, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), and services chiefs.
