Elon Musk's Father, Errol, Accused Of Child Sexual Abuse: Report

The father of Elon Musk, Errol Musk, has been confronted with serious allegations of sexually abusing his children and stepchildren, according to a comprehensive investigation.
A report published by The New York Times on Tuesday revealed that Errol Musk, 79, has been accused of sexually abusing five of his children and stepchildren. The investigation draws from multiple sources including letters, emails, legal documents, and interviews with family members, with allegations dating back to 1993.
One of the earliest accusations came from a four-year-old stepdaughter who reported to relatives that Errol had inappropriately touched her in their home. The same stepdaughter later alleged catching him sniffing her undergarments. The accusations extend to two daughters and a stepson as well.
According to the report, authorities launched three separate law enforcement inquiries into these allegations. Two investigations were closed without further action, while the third remains in an unresolved state.
Errol Musk has categorically denied all allegations, describing them as "nonsense" and "false." He informed the publication that there exists "no evidence" supporting these claims and further suggested that relatives were manipulating the children in an attempt to extract money from his billionaire son, Elon Musk.
The Times noted that Elon Musk, who briefly served as an advisor to the Trump administration during its second term, has seldom discussed his father publicly. However, sources indicate that when family members reached out to him for assistance regarding these matters, he did intervene.
Family members interviewed for the investigation described Errol Musk, who has fathered or step-fathered at least nine children across three marriages, as someone who "maintains a powerful grip over much of the family."
Elon Musk has consistently characterized his relationship with his father as extremely strained. In a 2017 interview with Rolling Stone, he stated that Errol had committed "almost every evil thing you could possibly think of." Reflecting on his childhood, Elon explained that at age 10, he chose to live with his father while his siblings, Kimbal and Tosca, stayed with their mother.
"I felt sorry for my father because my mother had all three kids. He seemed very sad and lonely by himself, so I thought, 'I can be company,'" Elon told the magazine. "I didn't really understand at the time what kind of person he was... It was not a good idea."
In that same interview, Elon further characterized his father as someone who "will have a carefully thought-out plan of evil. He will plan evil," though he declined to elaborate on specific details.
