Police in Pakistan's Punjab province have registered a First Information Report (FIR) regarding the theft of "two apples and a hand wash bottle" from a sessions court judge's chamber in Lahore, according to a police statement released on Tuesday.

The FIR was filed at Lahore's Islampura Police Station after the judge's reader submitted a complaint, stating that he did so following direct instructions from the judge.

As detailed in the FIR, the theft occurred on December 5 when two apples and one handwash bottle were stolen from Additional Sessions Judge Noor Muhammad Basmal's chamber. The report values the stolen items at approximately PKR1,000.

Authorities in Lahore have registered the case under Section 380 of the Pakistan Penal Code, which specifically addresses theft offenses. Individuals convicted under this section could potentially face severe penalties including up to seven years imprisonment, financial fines, or a combination of both punishments.
