Miraculous Rescue: 10-Year-Old Syrian Boy Found Alive After Days Buried Under Rocks in Turkey

Rescuers in Turkey's Hatay province made a miraculous discovery when they found a 10-year-old Syrian boy alive after being buried under rocks for two days. Amir Alcedduh was discovered near Reyhanli Dam on December 7, having been abducted, assaulted, and buried under heavy stones following his disappearance from school on December 5.

When Amir failed to return home from his primary school, his worried family filed a missing person report, triggering an extensive search operation by Reyhanli police. The authorities meticulously examined footage from over 200 surveillance cameras throughout the district, eventually spotting Amir in a vehicle heading toward the Reyhanli Dam area.

The breakthrough came when volunteer searcher Ramazan Albayrak was inspecting a debris-filled area near the dam. Initially mistaking a faint sound for a crow, Albayrak soon realized he was hearing a child's voice emerging from beneath a pile of rocks. Upon discovering what appeared to be a small body buried in the rubble, he immediately began removing the stones.

Dramatic rescue footage shows the moment emergency responders uncovered the young boy and called urgently for an ambulance. Despite his ordeal, Amir was found alive and rushed to hospital with head injuries.

Medical professionals performed surgery on the child, who is now reported to be in stable condition with no immediate threat to his life. Amir's father, Muhammed El Cedduh, expressed his anguish to local media, saying: "My son suffered under those stones for days. I want the cruel person who did this to my son to receive the harshest punishment possible. May God protect us all."

Authorities have reportedly taken a suspect into custody in connection with the kidnapping, though the individual denies any involvement in the crime. The investigation continues as Amir recovers from his traumatic experience.
