Putin's Alleged Daughter Apologizes for Ukraine War When Confronted by Journalist in Paris

Rozova expressed regret for her father's actions in Ukraine but maintained she bears no personal responsibility.

Luiza Rozova, alleged to be Russian President Vladimir Putin's undisclosed daughter, has issued an apology regarding her father's military campaign in Ukraine. This occurred when a Ukrainian journalist approached her on the streets of Paris.

"I'm really sorry that this is happening. Unfortunately, I'm not responsible for this situation," Rozova stated according to The NY Post. The encounter happened when journalist Dmytro Sviatnenko confronted her, attributing responsibility to her father for his brother Volodymyr's death, who reportedly perished in a Russian airstrike last month.

"Three weeks ago, your father killed my brother. Say something! Do you support his policies?" Sviatnenko questioned her, also inquiring how she could reside in Europe despite Putin's well-documented antagonism toward Western nations.

During the interaction, Luiza repeatedly objected to being recorded and attempted to maintain her privacy. "I did not give you permission to film me," she insisted while covering her face with a mask.

The journalist highlighted Ukraine's ongoing hardships, asking whether she endorsed her father's military decisions. "Well, you know, Kyiv is currently without power, and there's an air raid alert right now. We didn't give our permission for this either. How do you feel about your father's policies?" he pressed.

Sviatnenko also encouraged her to communicate with her father to end the conflict. "Well, he's your father. At the very least, you could call him right now and say, 'Dad, stop shelling Kyiv,'" he suggested, inviting her to visit Ukraine to witness the devastation firsthand.

"You could come to Kyiv and perform better than any Patriot air defense system and end the 'mess' in the country," he told her. Luiza apologized again, explaining she had no influence in the matter and couldn't offer assistance.

Who is Luiza Rozova?

Luiza is reportedly the daughter of Putin and Svetlana Krivonogikh, his former cleaner who became a multimillionaire. She currently works as a DJ in Paris.

While Rozova's birth certificate does not identify her father, her patronymic name "Vladimirovna" suggests a connection to the Russian President.

In 2020, independent media organization Proekt reported that Svetlana's daughter bears an "uncanny resemblance" to Putin. However, the Kremlin has rejected these claims, describing them as "unfounded and unconvincing".
