Balochistan:

Three Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) terrorists were eliminated during retaliatory operations by Pakistani security forces, according to Dawn news reports.

The Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan South spokesperson released a statement explaining that the security response followed an incident where a suicide attacker detonated explosives at the main entrance of the FC headquarters in Nokkundi, Balochistan.

The Pakistani government refers to the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) as 'Fitna-al-Khawarij', and has officially designated it as a banned organization.

According to the FC statement, security personnel responded promptly and successfully neutralized three terrorists in the encounter.

Dawn reported that approximately six armed assailants had penetrated the FC headquarters following the suicide attack. Security forces were conducting a clearance operation at the site.

Reports also indicated that another attack targeted a checkpost in the Gurmakan area of Panjgur district.

Since the TTP terminated its ceasefire agreement with the Pakistani government in November 2022, the group has significantly increased its activities, particularly in the regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.

Dawn further reported that seven explosions occurred in Quetta and Dera Murad Jamali in Balochistan on Saturday, with one blast damaging a section of railway track and disrupting train services.

Meanwhile, disturbing information has emerged from an October 2025 report published by Paank, a prominent human rights organization that documents forced disappearances and extrajudicial killings in Balochistan.

The report reveals what it describes as "systematic state-sponsored violence," with allegations that Pakistani security institutions and affiliated militias are conducting widespread abductions, torture, and killings throughout the province, as reported by The Balochistan Post.

According to The Balochistan Post, Paank documented 87 cases of enforced disappearances in October alone, with the majority occurring in the districts of Kech, Panjgur, Khuzdar, and Dera Bugti. Victims were reportedly seized from their residences, roads, and public markets during military operations.

Eighteen individuals who were subsequently released described horrifying experiences including beatings, electrocution, and extended solitary confinement, which Paank characterizes as evidence of a "structured torture system" operating within clandestine detention facilities.

The report also confirmed 20 extrajudicial killings. Many of the victims had previously been reported missing, suggesting what human rights activists refer to as a disturbing "kill-and-dump" policy. Among the victims was Jahanzaib Baloch, who was abducted from Pasni in late September and whose mutilated body was discovered in Lasbela on October 1.
