Noreen Niazi has cautioned that harming Imran Khan would plunge Pakistan into "chaos"
Noreen Niazi, sister of former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, has issued a stark warning that any physical harm inflicted on her brother by the establishment would thrust the country into "chaos," given the significant public support behind the imprisoned PTI leader.
Describing her brother as "a hundred percent healthy person," she emphasized that the public eagerly awaits his appearance and would not tolerate any harm coming to him.
"I think they should not even dare to physically harm Imran Khan, because that is a red line. I think if they do that, the country will be in chaos, because the public is behind him, and they are waiting to see him. So they dare not do anything to him," Niazi stated in an interview with NDTV.

She claimed that rumors about Khan's condition were being deliberately spread to "disturb the public and his supporters."
Niazi also condemned the conditions of Khan's imprisonment, pointing out that prisoners should not be kept in solitary confinement for more than four days, yet the former prime minister has endured nearly a month in isolation. "It is like a mental and physical abuse of Imran Khan. They put him in isolation, which is a crime according to the jail manual," she asserted.
According to her account, authorities are denying family visits because they do not want to "bring his message outside the jail."
Her comments come as Asim Munir took office as Pakistan's first Chief of Defence Forces (CDF), signaling a new era of expanded military authority. Regarding Munir, Niazi remarked, "He thinks he's all-powerful, but he's still not. Because in our religion, there is nobody more powerful than God."
Despite her criticism of the system, Niazi expressed continued hope for judicial fairness. While acknowledging that "there is no justice system left," she added, "We will stand for his justice, and Inshallah, he will get justice."
Khan's other sister, Aleema, has filed a contempt of court petition against the Adiala jail superintendent and others for failing to comply with an Islamabad High Court (IHC) order that mandated twice-weekly meetings for the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder, according to local media reports on Friday.
Earlier on Wednesday, Rawalpindi's Adiala jail authorities maintained that the PTI founder has not been transferred from prison and remains "in good health."
Khan, who has been imprisoned since August 2023, faces multiple charges, including corruption and terrorism, following his removal from power through a no-confidence motion in 2022.
