India Achieves 8.2% GDP Growth in Q2 2025-26: PM Modi Credits Pro-Growth Policies and Reforms

Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his satisfaction with India's remarkable economic performance, noting that the 8.2 percent GDP growth in the second quarter of 2025-26 demonstrates significant economic progress.

Speaking from New Delhi, PM Modi attributed this impressive growth to the effective implementation of government policies and ongoing reforms. The Indian economy has achieved its highest growth rate in six quarters, with manufacturing improvements and an outstanding double-digit expansion in the services sector.

"The 8.2 percent GDP growth in Q2 of 2025-26 is very encouraging. It reflects the impact of our pro-growth policies and reforms. It also reflects the hard work and enterprise of our people," the Prime Minister stated in a message shared on the social media platform X.

Modi further affirmed his administration's commitment to continuing this positive trajectory, pledging that "Our government will continue to advance reforms and strengthen Ease of Living for every citizen."
