Hyderabad:

Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh has personally financed all 77 of his flights to Hyderabad, according to recently released Right To Information (RTI) documentation, despite facing criticism from opposition parties regarding his frequent air travel.

The RTI documents clearly demonstrate that Lokesh, who is the son of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, has not utilized any public funds for these flights, choosing instead to cover all expenses from his personal resources.

Official responses from the ministries under Lokesh's supervision - Human Resources, Information Technology, Electronics, and RTGS - verify that he has not requested any government reimbursement for travel or flight expenses.

According to the RTI records, every ticket, including special flights required for urgent governmental matters, was paid from Lokesh's personal income, ensuring no financial impact on the Andhra Pradesh state treasury.

This matter has become a notable point of discussion for the ruling Telugu Desam Party (TDP). It presents Lokesh's behavior as fiscally responsible and transparent, standing in contrast to allegations commonly made against other politicians regarding misuse of public funds for travel and personal comfort.
