37-Year-Old Man Dies After Jumping In Front Of Delhi Metro Train: Police Investigation Underway

A tragic incident occurred on Monday when a 37-year-old man allegedly took his own life by jumping in front of an approaching train at Rohini West metro station. Police have identified the deceased as Hemant Negi, a resident of Rohini Sector 2, and confirmed that no suicide note was recovered from the scene.
Authorities received an emergency call at approximately 5:03 pm reporting that a passenger had jumped in front of a train near gate number 3 of Rohini West metro station. Upon arrival, police learned that the injured individual had already been transported to BSA Hospital by ambulance.
At the hospital, police collected the medico-legal case report for Negi, who was pronounced dead by doctors in the casualty ward. According to preliminary investigation, Negi arrived at the metro station and jumped in front of an inbound train traveling from Rithala toward Kashmere Gate on the Red Line. Officials noted that Negi was employed at a private company in Ghaziabad.
Crime scene investigators and forensic experts have examined the location and gathered relevant evidence for further analysis. Police are in the process of notifying Negi's family members about the incident.
