4 Arrested For Raping Girl in Jharkhand's Godda: Cops

Four individuals have been apprehended in Godda district of Jharkhand for allegedly sexually assaulting a teenage girl in the Boarijore area, according to police statements released on Saturday.

The arrests were conducted following the filing of a First Information Report based on statements provided by the victim's family members.

According to police officials, the incident occurred on Friday when the 17-year-old victim had traveled to visit relatives in Boarijore and attended a local fair. At the fair, she reportedly became acquainted with one of the accused perpetrators.

The police complaint states that the individual subsequently led her to a secluded location, where three additional accomplices joined him and allegedly committed the sexual assault against the minor.

A law enforcement officer confirmed that all four suspects have been remanded to judicial custody following their arrest.

Authorities have indicated that the investigation into the case remains ongoing.
