A cleaner lost his job after a viral video revealed stray dogs resting on patient beds at a government community health center in Madhya Pradesh's Khandwa district, causing public indignation. The incident occurred at the Killaud Community Health Centre, according to an official report.

Block Medical Officer Dr. Dharmendra Sharma immediately terminated the cleaner's employment and ordered a seven-day salary deduction for the nurse who was on duty during the incident, the official added.

"Health authorities were directed to implement strict measures against those responsible for this serious lapse," collector Rishav Gupta informed reporters.
