Noida authorities reported a tragic incident involving a 21-year-old woman who lost her life after allegedly jumping from the 16th floor of a residential building in Greater Noida.

According to Vinod Kumar, the Surajpur Kotwali officer in charge, the incident occurred at approximately 7:20 pm on Friday at Migsun Twin Society. The deceased, identified as Shalu from Muzaffarnagar, had been residing in an apartment with four friends.

Kumar stated that at the time of the incident, only Shalu and one roommate were present in the apartment. The roommate was reportedly in the kitchen when Shalu went to the balcony and jumped.

Society residents quickly rushed her to a nearby hospital, where medical professionals pronounced her deceased upon arrival.

Police investigations have not uncovered any suicide note, and authorities are currently examining the circumstances surrounding this tragic event. The investigation remains ongoing.

Family information reveals that Shalu is survived by her brother and sister, as her parents had passed away previously.
