Fatal Car Accident in Ambarnath Claims Four Lives: Multiple Two-Wheelers Crushed in Thane District Flyover Collision

A devastating collision on an Ambarnath flyover in Maharashtra's Thane district resulted in four fatalities and three injuries when a car lost control, struck multiple two-wheelers, and overturned. The impact was so severe that one victim was thrown off the flyover, while vehicles were completely crushed. Police officials, including ACP Shailesh Kale, are investigating the incident while working to identify all victims of this tragic road accident.

Four individuals lost their lives and three others sustained injuries when a car collided with multiple two-wheelers and overturned on a flyover in Ambarnath town, located in Maharashtra's Thane district, on Friday, according to police reports.

The tragic incident occurred at approximately 7:15 pm on the flyover connecting the eastern and western parts of the town.

The collision was so powerful that one of the two-wheeler riders was thrown into the air and fell onto the road below the flyover, police stated.

"The car driver apparently lost control, causing the vehicle to crash into four to five two-wheelers before overturning," explained a police official.

Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Shailesh Kale of Ambarnath confirmed: "Four people, including the car driver, were killed in the accident." He noted that the two-wheelers were completely crushed by the impact and added that efforts were underway to identify the deceased individuals.

Three other people were injured in the collision but are reportedly out of danger after being admitted to local hospitals.

The bodies of the deceased have been transported to a government hospital for post-mortem examination, according to police.

Further investigation into the incident is ongoing.
