Over 100 Delhi Schools Receive Bomb Threats, Later Declared 'Hoax'

On Saturday morning, more than 100 schools across the national capital received bomb threats, which authorities later confirmed to be false alarms after comprehensive inspections of the premises.

According to police sources, the threatening email was delivered at 6:10 am from a group identifying itself as "Terrorizers111" - an entity that has previously sent similar threatening messages to educational institutions.

The email's subject line ominously stated: "Bombs Placed in Your Building - React or Face the Disaster." Officials from Delhi Fire Services (DFS) reported receiving alerts about approximately 10 schools, including Delhi Public School (DPS) in Dwarka, Krishna Model Public School, Sarvodaya Vidyalaya, CRPF Public School in Dwarka, and Mata Vidya Devi Public School in Najafgarh.

Following thorough security sweeps of all affected locations, officials declared the threats to be hoaxes.

As part of the emergency response, bomb disposal units and police teams were immediately deployed to the school campuses.

As a safety precaution, students and staff members were evacuated from the threatened buildings, officials confirmed.

"We have meticulously examined all campus facilities. No suspicious items have been discovered," stated a senior police officer.

Police are currently investigating the origin of these threats and examining whether they were part of a coordinated effort to instigate panic throughout the educational system.
