"We will not tolerate the insult of our sister under any circumstances," Tej Pratap Yadav firmly declared.
New Delhi:
Tej Pratap Yadav, the estranged son of Lalu Prasad Yadav, has raised concerns about whether "Jaichands" (traitors) are subjecting his parents to mental harassment. He has called upon the Centre, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and the Bihar government to investigate this serious matter. He emphasized that his father's fragile health condition makes him particularly vulnerable to such pressure.
The younger Yadav has publicly backed his sister Rohini Acharya's allegations that she faced harassment and humiliation from their brother Tejashwi Yadav and his close associate Sanjay Yadav.
In a powerful statement posted on X (formerly Twitter), Tej Pratap wrote: "We will not tolerate the insult of our sister under any circumstances, Jaichand will definitely have to pay the consequences for this misbehavior!"
Through his Janshakti Janta Dal account, the former minister who recently lost the election from Mahua assembly seat, expressed further concerns: "It is being said that some people, Jaichands, are making attempts to keep my parents Lalu Prasad ji and my mother under mental and physical pressure. If there is even a shred of truth in this, then this is not just an attack on my family, it is a direct blow to the very soul of the RJD. I request the PM, Amit Shah ji, and the Bihar government that an impartial, strict, and immediate investigation be conducted in the matter".
Tej Pratap has specifically named Sanjay Yadav, Rameez Nemat Khan, and Pritam Yadav, demanding police action against them if they are found to have harassed his family members.
Rohini Acharya made disturbing claims about her treatment, stating that she was verbally abused and accused of trading her kidney donation for financial gain and a party ticket. She further alleged that she was forced to leave her parents' home by individuals loyal to Tejashwi Yadav.
On her X account, Acharya—who had previously donated a kidney to her father—alleged: "I was sworn at", and was "accused of having given my filthy kidney to my father" in exchange for "crores of rupees and a party ticket".
Both siblings have pointed to troubling issues within the Rashtriya Janata Dal, highlighting problems with ticket distribution, excessive sycophancy, and betrayal as key factors causing the party's deterioration and creating significant discord within the family.
