'India Trusts Parties Who Prioritise Development': PM Modi On Bihar Win

Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized on Monday that the BJP's success in elections stems from its unwavering commitment to development and public welfare.

Speaking from New Delhi at the sixth Ramnath Goenka Lecture, PM Modi reflected on the recent Bihar election results, noting they delivered a significant message about Indian voters' expectations.

"The Bihar election outcomes have demonstrated clearly that Indian citizens have high aspirations and expectations from their government. People today place their trust in political parties with genuine intentions that fulfill public aspirations and make development their priority," PM Modi stated.

He encouraged state governments across India to embrace healthy competition by creating investment-friendly environments and promoting economic growth. "Organizing initiatives to enhance ease of doing business could serve as an excellent step in this direction," he suggested.

The Prime Minister highlighted that the BJP's electoral success comes from its continuous dedication to development rather than periodic campaign efforts. "To win elections, one must constantly work in emotional connection with people's needs, not merely switch to election mode when convenient," he remarked.

Modi expressed confidence in India's economic trajectory, describing it as "a model of hope" for the international community. "Despite global instabilities, our GDP maintains growth at nearly seven percent. India represents not just an emerging market but an emerging model as well," he said.

He concluded by acknowledging India's determination to achieve developed nation status, noting that the country continues to experience rapid growth despite facing numerous global challenges.
